Founded in 2019 by Philippe Rivière and Patrice Rives, ACI is a group of experts in the industrial field, based mainly in the Rhône-Alpes region. Thanks to the experience of the two founders, the group has developed as a specialist in the Defence, Energy, Nuclear, Medical, Mobility and Aeronautics sectors.

ACI Groupe consolidates 16 strong industrial sites such as RABOURDIN or COMEFOR. The growth strategy, based on niche technological know-how, enables them to meet the needs of several markets by guaranteeing “French Quality” parts or sub-assemblies.

Founded in 1947 in Lyon, Forges de Monplaisir (FDM), is a company specialised in the production and transformation of medium-sized parts and rings, obtained by free forging and circular rolling, in the treated and pre-machined state within the framework of the various certifications.

Since 1991, FDM has been part of the AUBERT&DUVAL group, which subsequently became part of the ALLIAGE branch of the ERAMET group.

In 2022, the ERAMET group will “hijack” ACI Groupe, which now owns 100% of FDM’s shares.

Thanks to its field of expertise, FDM is able to meet the needs of a wide range of major customers in the energy, defence, petrochemical and aeronautical sectors.

Forges de Monplaisir has a stock of 150 tonnes of raw materials available for processing, and also has more than 100 references on the stock.

The interests of this acquisition for ACI Groupe are as follows :

• Acquire additional technical skills in the forging industry,
• Expand its customer portfolio in the energy, defence and chemical/petrochemical markets,
• Consolidate its position in the Rhône-Alpes-Auvergne region

This merger will enable Forges de Monplaisir to :

• Strengthen the company’s sales teams,
• Expand its customer base thanks to the reputation of the ACI Group,
• Benefit from strong operational synergies.
