Founded in 1987, Netlon is a major and recognised player in the field of outdoor equipment and fittings, crop protection and decoration in France. The company is one of the French leaders in the garden articles sector through its brand: Ideal-Garden.
David Lebargy joined the group in May 2020 as managing director, taking over from Jean-Paul Mayol. He was chosen for his solid experience (more than 25 years) in the garden equipment sector.
Since his arrival, the company has captured more than 30% of additional market share in a very troubled economic context. The company has achieved a turnover of around €15 million in 2021. Mr Lebargy’s objective is to develop around three main areas :
- Gardening,
- Home improvement,
- Decoration.
I-Deal Development’s teams represented Mr David Lebargy’s interests in this operation, while also structuring his financing with the historical banks and new partners. Mr David Lebargy was able to convince the historical shareholders of the quality of his candidacy, in front of industrialists of the sector, very willing to consolidate the market.
