Founded by Philippe Mallet in 2003, MECAPHI is an industrial holding company whose aim is to acquire majority stakes in French industrial companies, while capitalising on the expertise and 30 years’ experience of its CEO in managing SMEs in the engineering sector.
ADEE Electronic, founded in 1978 by François Girard, specialises in lightning and power surge protection. With a design office and test benches dedicated to its activity, ADEE Electronic has a capacity for innovation and product design that has positioned it as the French lightning arrester specialist for over 40 years. The creation of Trio2sys in 2011, followed by the acquisition of NEMET in 2019, has enabled the group to broaden its offering by marketing home automation products while bringing in-house the manufacture and integration of electronic boards.
The group markets its products under the FUSADEE, VARIO and DEFYSTORM brands.
This transfer is a continuation of the strategy put in place over the last few years by Dominique Girard and is designed to enable ADEE Electronic and Trio2sys to pass through key stages of development thanks to Philippe Mallet’s expertise in industrial excellence and international development.
The I-Deal Development team provided exclusive support to Philippe Mallet, CEO of the MECAPHI group, in the acquisition of the ADEE Electronic group, and was able to bring together the UI Investissement investment fund to support the project.
