I-Deal Development assists Dynafin in the acquisition of Refine

In this context of health crisis, I-Deal Development carries out a fully digitalized operation to support Dynafin in its first acquisition in Belgium.

Founded in 2010 by Manu Da Sousa, David Ramakers and Régis Fraisse, Dynafin offers consulting services to financial clients.

Thanks to its expertise in the financial sectors, coupled with a service offer focused on the transversal functions of the company (HR, Regulatory & Tax, Digital Services and Finance & Accounting), Dynafin has succeeded in establishing itself as a reference in its market and has become one of the Belgian leaders in Securities consulting.

With a turnover of € 2,9 M in 2020, Refine is a consulting firm specialized in the banking, insurance and energy sectors. The company currently employs around thirty experts to carry out missions for major clients (BNPP, Belfius, ING, etc.) around its three areas of expertise in Risk Management, Data Management and Compliance & Regulatory Management.

This merger strengthens and broadens Dynafin’s offer. Together, Dynafin and Refine have a consolidated turnover of more than 10 M€ and more than 100 experts.

David Ramakers, director and founder of Dynafin Consulting, confides: “Although the managers of 2 companies know each other and have been working together for several years, and have a desire to embark on a common industrial project, a merger process remains complex and delicate, and requires the support of real experts.

I-Deal Development’s teams have thus judiciously advised the shareholders of DynaFin Consulting and Refine Consulting, helped them to overcome certain obstacles linked to both the shareholding structure and the inexperience of the transferring company, and enabled the managers of the 2 companies to concentrate on formalising their ambitions and making their business project operational.
