Created in 1991 by Patrick Beau, PhD in Life Sciences and Deputy Vice-President of COSMETIC-VALLEY, SPINCONTROL is a Laboratory specialized in the performance measurement of In Vivo cosmetic products. With its subsidiary in North America and its joint ventures in Thailand, Indonesia and India, the Group has built a reputation as a benchmark player thanks to the quality of its services and its innovative approach.
Having become famous in the world of cosmetics after a publication on the development of a technique for measuring skin hydration, the Laboratory has been able to develop, through several approaches (both quantitative and qualitative), innovative methods on its market. The Group works in particular with companies such as L’Oréal, L’Occitane, Pierre Fabre, Shisheido, Chanel and Galderma.
Founded in 1998, the BIO-EC laboratory is a research center specializing in efficacy testing of cosmetic products and food supplements. Directed by Elian Lati, Doctor of Pharmacy, the company is specialized in 3 areas of activity: ex vivo objectivation, in vivo objectivation and the evaluation of transcutaneous penetration.
The merger of these two players, who are seeking to develop their in vivo activity, will enable them to extend the coverage of panel tests, broaden their offer, and pool their sales forces while drawing on the respective know-how of their respective entities. Doctor Elian Lati will be able to rely on the established organization and expertise of SPINCONTROL’s teams, which has guaranteed its success for several decades. This operation allows Mr. Lati to double the size of his Group and to take a key step in its economic and strategic development.
