We are pleased to announce that Groupe Nalys has acquired a stake in the Sparring Capital fund.
Created in 2011, by three former Alten managers (P. Serange, F. Veysset, M. Gaillard), the engineering group mainly works with major clients in four business lines: pharmaceutical, embedded equipment, mechanical engineering and web applications. The group is historically established in Belgium (Wallonia and Flanders) and opened its first subsidiary in France in 2016.
With a turnover of 25M€ and 250 employees, the group has experienced very strong growth (TCAM > 20%) since its creation. Supported by the Nalys Institute of Technologies, an internal structure dedicated to the training and specialization of the group’s consultants, Nalys has developed very close relationships with the largest pharmaceutical groups in Europe (GSK, Shire-Baxalta, UCB etc.). The group assists its clients on critical issues of quality, audit, project management, training etc.
The operation, entirely managed by I-Deal Development, allowed two of the founders (F. Veysset, M. Gaillard) to secure their entrepreneurial assets and Patrice Sérange to go back to the capital by joining forces with Sparring Capital (J. Le Duigou) in order to set up a project of sustained European growth.
The founders gave an exclusive mandate to I-Deal Development for its “perfect mastery of the challenges of Nalys’ businesses and its expertise in supporting complex shareholder situations”.
