Founded in 1997 by Gaétan Duchesne, GDG Informatique et Gestion is a Quebec-based firm of 350 information technology consultants. The group has built its expertise in strategy consulting, management consulting, information security, information systems development and integration, quality assurance, and data warehouse design, evolution and operation. Thanks to its diversified resources, GDG Informatique et Gestion is able to support its clients in their international development. The GDG group will end its 2021 fiscal year (30/06) with a consolidated turnover of 40M$CAD.
Since July 2019, the Alan Allman Associates ecosystem has gained a foothold in North America with the acquisition of 3 companies (Victrix, Noxent, Noverka). In the space of two years, the Canadian perimeter has developed very strongly:
- 130 million Canadian dollars pro forma 2021
- More than 1000 talents
- 6 brands in IT services (Information Technology)
All operations were managed by the investment bank I-Deal Development.
Paul-André Jouzel, Associate, who steered the project said: “This rise is possible thanks to several key success factors such as a buoyant market, a strong economy in North America and the IT expertise of Alan Allman Associates. The combination of these parameters allowed us to convince local partners to accompany one of our long-standing clients (AAA) in this extraordinary adventure, and it works!”
Founded by Mr. Jean-Marie Thual in 2009, Alan Allman Associates (ISIN code: FR0000062465), is an ecosystem specialised in digital transformation and owner of strong brands. This ecosystem of brands is concentrated around 3 poles:
- Industry consulting
- Strategy consulting
- High-tech consulting
AAA projects a 2021 turnover of €180M. Established in North America since 2019, the perimeter should represent more than a third of this turnover.
The merger between the two companies will allow AAA Canada to consolidate its position in the IT sector in Quebec, to develop its client portfolio and to create business, commercial and geographical synergies, particularly with Noverka, while retaining the DNA and culture of GDG.
I-Deal Development Canada Inc. is thus completing its 7th transaction in North America in 19 months and its 3rd in Canada in the last 3 months.
