I-Deal Development is proud to have accompanied its historical client, Walor International (€240M in turnover), a leading supplier to the automotive sector, in its Carv-Out operation (sale of an integrated site) of its subsidiary SPF, with the industrial group ACI.
In this complicated sanitary context (COVID-19), the intervention of I-Deal Development enabled the Walor International Group to refocus on its core business (cold and semi-hot forging) in order to concentrate its efforts.
By identifying a fast-growing player (ACI Group, two external growths in three months) and in search of significant production capacity with significant human know-how, I-Deal Development has succeeded in securing a sustainable future for the Saint Pierre en Faucigny site.
The SPF site specializes in high-volume screw-cutting mainly for automotive customers (PSA, BOSCH). In 2019, the subsidiary generated revenues of around €12.5 million and employs 70 people.
This operation, which creates value for all parties, enables Walor International to concentrate its resources on the development of its core production units and the ACI group to reach 40M€ in turnover, spread over 7 industrial sites (Rhône-Alpes, Reims, Romania).
The health crisis has forced all parties to redouble their efforts and ingenuity to carry out this operation. The final signature took place simultaneously in 5 different cities.
Éric Lorin, Chairman of the Walor International Group added: “I-Deal was once again able to accompany us, with professionalism and consistency, in this important operation for the group’s development, despite the particularly complex economic and health context”.
